Sy and Dolly were very busy promoting women in both amature and proffessional venues of the sport. the walls of gold crown were decorated with many women player's pictures. some said their endeavor would fail! the eckstadts retired after 23 years in september 1986 closing the room for a period of time. it was bright, spacious and air conditioned. it boasted 19 brunswick gold crown three tables, great cloth and centenial balls.
